About Us

Probably the most important thing you should know about me is that I absolutely love what I do.

I help busy people & companies reclaim space and style in their homes or offices, and that makes me wildly happy. Growing up, I always thought I did not have an artistic bone in my body. It took me a long time to understand that not everyone has an eye for design. And that design is an art. Interior design is like any other art form. It is used to paint a story of the clients I am working with. It conveys a message of who lives or works there, what their passions are and what message they are sending. When a space is well designed, the story is easy to read, but poor design can muddle the tale, just as poor writing can ruin a great narrative.

That's why what I do isn't just about making a room look pretty in nice light.
What I do is about problem solving with families and companies in real and important ways. Making their lives easier or better through functional spaces that actually feel good and increase productivity. I literally get goosebumps when I hear how my clients have fallen back in love with their homes or their offices flow much better and thriving!

I launched Red River Designs during Covid after years of flipping houses. Now three years into RR Designs, we have helped families with houses ranging from $200,000-$750,000. With over 14 years in the office furniture & design business. I find that my natural ability to look at design from all angles and to think outside of the box or current trend gives me an edge in the industry. I am not bound by the world of design's rules or guidebook. I prefer to start with your favorite pre-existing pieces and to build the design from there.

When I'm not at the office or out working with clients, you can find me spending time at home with my two dogs, Baxter and Nola. I was born, raised and still live in the Shreveport-Bossier City area of Louisiana. I also am the owner of Office Furniture Source in Bossier City, one of the most premier office furniture companies in Louisiana. And recently opened The Gift Shop at Office Furniture Source, a Louisiana-unique shop that exclusively carries the work of Louisiana artists & local small businesses located in the deep south. I'm probably most excited about my newest venture, The Painted Edge which is a sip & art studio with paint parties and events.
